It is good to make your keto ranch dressing at home because it is cheaper than store bought, you can control what you put into the dressing and the best of all is this ranch dressing is sugar free. Ranch dressing is usually made with buttermilk but in this recipe I used sour cream and lemon juice. These two ingredients helps to create the same tangy ranch flavour as that of the one with buttermilk.

•milk, heavy cream or water

It is super easy to make this ranch dressing at home. You just have to put all the ingredients into a bowl and whisk. I like to add the milk last, gradually until desired consistency is reached. You can make a thick or thin dressing depending with your preference.
Which milk should I use when making homemade ranch dressing?
I like to use unsweetened almond milk as it is low carb and sugar free but feel free to substitute it with coconut milk if you do not mind the flavour. You can also use heavy or dairy milk if you do not mind the carbs. If you do not have any of the above, feel free to use water but you will need to use less water as it may make your dressing runny.

Put in an airtight glass container and store in a fridge for 10-14 days.
Ingredients For Keto homemade ranch dressing
1/2 cup keto homemade mayonnaise
¼ cup sour cream
1 tablespoon unsweetened almond milk or water
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley or 2 teaspoons fresh
½ teaspoon dried dill or 1 teaspoon fresh
½ teaspoon dried chives or 1 teaspoon fresh
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon sea salt
⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Method For Keto homemade ranch dressing
1.Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk until combined. Gradually add milk while whisking, less milk for a thick dressing and more for a thin dressing.
2. Chill in the fridge for 1 hour to let the flavours develop better. It even taste better if you leave it for 24hours so don’t be afraid to make it ahead of time.
3. It is now ready to be used as a salad dressing, dip, sauce, marinade or in casseroles.
Note: You can spice it up by adding 1 tablespoon of finely chopped jalapeno.
